Anxiety is a common experience. When fear or worry is persistent, intense and disrupts everyday life, professional assessment can help identify an anxiety disorder or another explanation.

Anxiety disorders take different forms; they are not all generalised anxiety disorder. They can affect people at any age.

The source overview encourages care without blame. These resources explain experiences and support. The YoungMinds video is intended particularly for young people.
